Classic Map Designs
Both faces of this coin feature maps. On the obverse are Oceania and Asia. Queen Elizabeth II's portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, which has been appearing on coins for two decades, is on the right. The monarch is depicted wearing a tiara. Her name, "ELIZABETH II," joins the name of the issuing country, "TOKELAU," on the right. The coin's face value, "5 DOLLARS," is noted at the top, while its name, "TERRA," and date, "2020," are at the bottom. The GPS coordinates of Tokelau are notetd below the face value. The rim features a compass design, as does the rim of the reverse.
On the reverse is the other side of the world. The map features the Americas, Europe, and Africa. The inscriptions at the bottom match those on the obverse. At the top are inscriptions of the coin's weight and purity, which together read, "1 OZ FINE SILVER 999." Below them is an inscription of the GPS coordinates of Bratislava. "SERVA ME, SERVABO TE," a Latin inscription that means, "Protect me, I will protect you," is on the right.
