Stunning Hologram UFO Design
In the center of the obverse is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II that is encircled by four inscriptions. The right-side effigy shows t he monarch wearing a tiara and earrings. It has featured on coins from several countries for more than two decades. The monarch's name, "ELIZABETH II," joins the name of the coin's country, "SOLOMON ISLANDS," its face value, "2 DOLLARS," and the date, "2020," in encircling the image. Inscriptions of the weight, "1 OZ," and purity, "999.9 AG," of the coin are set off to the left, while its serial number is on the right.
The coin is shaped to fit the reverse design, a classic UFO image. It looks like a flying saucer and shimmers thanks to its hologram design features. This shimmering is similar to what an observer on the ground might see when viewing a UFO that is reflecting sunlight.
