Reverse: An intricately detailed feather is featured on the reverse. "ONE DOLLAR" and "ONE OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" are inscribed near the center, while "SHOSHONE BANNOCK TRIBES OF THE FORT HALL RESERVATION" and "IDAHO" are inscribed near the rim.
Obverse: Glenna Goodacre, who designed the famous Sacajawea Dollar design issued by the United States Mint. The obverse features an alternate design that was not submitted to the Mint, but that was released as a sketch. In the design, Sacajawea turns her head toward the holder while pointing the way, a fitting image since she served as the guide of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
