Moving Conservation Design by Donna Weaver

Obverse: President George Washington's 1932 portrait by John Flanagan features on the obverse. It is flanked by two inscriptions, "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST." Included on the rim are inscriptions that provide the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and the coin's face value, "QUARTER DOLLAR."

Reverse: A girl plants a Norway spruce sapling by a fully grown tree in Donna Weaver's reverse design, which was sculpted by Michael Gaudioso. "LAND STEWARDSHIP" is inscribed on the ground. Like other issues in the series, the reverse has a rim frame that bears four inscriptions, including the name of the featured park, "MARSH-BILLINGS-ROCKEFELLER," and the name of the state in which it is located, "VERMONT."
