Striking Emus Design by Natasha Muhl
Obverse: Jody Clark, an engraver at The Royal Mint, designed the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing her Royal Diamond Diadem that features on the obverse. A rim frame with three inscriptions encircles the image. They read, "ELIZABETH II," "AUSTRALIA," and "1 DOLLAR."
Reverse: The Australian outback is the setting for Natasha Muthl's reverse design. There, two emus rest by a body of water. Inscriptions on this face read, "AUSTRALIAN EMU," "2020," and "1 OZ 9999 SILVER."
