Why purchase this 1 oz Silver 2020-P $1 Australian Emu?
The Australian Emu became the fifth annual silver bullion series from the Perth Mint in 2018. Now in its third year, the series continues to grow in popularity among collectors. Each new issue in the series bears a new design, just like the Kookaburra and Koala series, which makes for building excitement ahead of each new release.
Stunning Emus Designs by Natasha Muhl
Obverse: A right-side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II features on the obverse. It was designed by British Royal Mint designer Jody Clark. Encircling the image is a rim frame in which there are three inscriptions, "ELIZABETH II," "AUSTRALIA," and "1 DOLLAR."
Reverse: Natasha Muhl designed the reverse. Two emus rest by a body of water in Australia's famous outback. They are joined by the inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN EMU," "2020," and "1 OZ 9999 SILVER."
