Design Celebrating the Game of Basketball
The combined artistry of Justin Kunz and Michael Gaudioso is featured on the concave obverse, depicting three ball players in action, with the inscriptions "LIBERTY," "2020," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "P" appearing in the background net pattern.
The reverse surface is gently curved, shaped into a three-dimensional basketball, with a rim and net below. The design by Donna Weaver and Phebe Hemphill is inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "ONE DOLLAR."
