Why purchase this 1 oz Silver 2020-Mo Mexico Libertad Onza?
The Silver Libertad Series dates back to 1982 and is one of the most popular series in North America. The coin's design and themes make it particularly attractive as a gift to a significant other or as a piece that couples can share. This 2020 edition is legal tender in Mexico, but unlike other legal tender coins, it does not have a face value. Instead, its value fluctuates with the price of silver.
Sunning Winged Victory Design
Obverse: The coin's obverse bears the current Mexican coat of arms. That image consists of an eagle eating a snake under the words "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS." This image is encircled by historical Mexican coats of arms.
Reverse: On the reverse is the Angel of Independence, also known as Winged Victory. In the background are Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl, two volcanoes that are named for lovers of ancient lore. Arching over the image are the inscriptions, "1 ONZA PLATA PURA," "2020," and "LEY .999."
Virtually Flawless MS69 with Mexico Label
Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) provided this coin's grading information on a Mexico label. NGC graded the coin Mint State 69, which indicates that it appears nearly perfect to the naked eye.
