Timeless Britannia Design
Britannia appears in a crested helmet on the reverse, standing in a protective pose on Great Britain's shoreline, while grasping a trident, Union Jack shield and olive branch, as a gusting wind blows her hair and gown behind her. Inscriptions include "BRITANNIA," "2020" and "1 oz 999.9 FINE GOLD."
Designed by Royal Mint Coin Designer Jody Clark, the obverse features the crowned, right facing effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by a finely textured guilloche background. Inscribed "ELIZABETH II, D.G. REG. F.D., 100 POUNDS."
