Moving Panda Design by Song Lina

The Temple of Heaven's Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests features on the obverse. The three circular tiers of the structure rise from the center of an elevated platform. Stairs rise to that platform from the holder. This image is encircled by a rim frame in which there are two inscriptions, "People's Republic of China" in Chinese characters at the top and the date, "2020," at the bottom.

On the reverse is an adorable panda design by Song Lina. The baby animal sits facing the holder while feeding himself with one paw and grabbing additional bamboo leaves with another. The face value of the coin is inscribed on the left, while its weight and purity, "50 G AU .999," are inscribed above the panda's head on the right.

Song Lina hand signed the label on which this coin's grading is provided. That information includes a Proof 70 grade, as well as Ultra Cameo and First Releases certifications, all of which were provided by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). Proof 70 indicates that a coin appears perfect under 5x magnification, while Ultra Cameo means that a coin has both deeply mirrored fields and heavily frosted devices. FR coins were submitted for grading within 30 days of their initial releases from the mint.
