Why Buy This MS70 First Strike 2020 Silver Eagle with a Flag Label?
The weight and purity of each American Silver Eagle is guaranteed by the U.S. Mint. These coins made their debut in 1986 and have become incredibly popular in the years since. The Silver Eagle shown here has a brilliant uncirculated finish, it was minted for 2020.
Patriotic Art by Weinman and Mercanti
The date is located on the obverse along with a classic Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. The stars and stripes are flowing around Liberty as she walks forward with a bundle of branches. This design was originally used for the half dollar.
The design on the reverse shows a heraldic bald eagle. This finely detailed work was created by John Mercanti. In addition to creating many designs for U.S. coins, Mercanti also served as Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint.
