Why add this Brilliant Uncirculated 2020 1/10 oz. Gold American Eagle bullion coin to your collection of precious metals?
The United States Mint introduced the American Gold Eagle series in 1986. Similar to the silver and palladium eagle coins, the Gold Eagle features imagery adapted from a beloved early 20th century coin design. The Gold Eagle's rendition of Liberty was originally struck on the 1907 $20 Gold Double Eagle, its design the result of a collaboration between sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens and President Theodore Roosevelt. This 2020 bullion issue of the 22 karat gold coin is struck from 1/10 Troy oz. of .9167 fine gold measuring 16.5 mm in diameter.
Timeless Lady Liberty Design
Lady Liberty is depicted on the obverse encircled by fifty stars, confidently advancing forward grasping an olive branch and torch aflame. The image is accompanied by the outline of the U.S. Capitol building at the base of a sunrise, along with the inscriptions "LIBERTY" and "2020."
Designed by Miley Busiek, the reverse features a magnificently detailed bald eagle flying above his nest and family with an olive branch gripped in its talons.
