2019-W Special Edition Set Proof + Reverse Proof + Uncirculated Lincoln Cent GEM BU in its Original Government Packaging
Why Choose This GEM BU 2019-W Proof, Reverse Proof, and Uncirculated Lincoln Cent Set in OGP?
The Lincoln cent is one modern coin with a particularly long history. These coins were first struck by the U.S. Mint in 1909 and they are still in production today. The series has had several design changes at this point and currently has the Union Shield reverse. 2019 was an especially interesting year for the Lincoln cent. While it's normal to see a proof Lincoln cent every year, 2019 brought proof, reverse proof, and uncirculated Lincoln cents from the West Point Mint. Each one of these was sold only as a bonus inclusion with the U.S. Mint's annual Proof and Mint sets. The proof is from the 2019 Proof Set, the reverse proof is from the 2019 Silver Proof Set, and the uncirculated is from the 2019 Uncirculated Mint Set.
- All three coins are included in their original packaging.
- This set includes 2019-W proof, reverse proof, and uncirculated Lincoln cents.
- These coins have a clad composition.
Abraham Lincoln and the Union Shield
Obverse: This side of each coin features a highly detailed portrait of Abraham Lincoln. The original design was created by Victor David Brenner and first used in 1909. The date and mint mark can be found on this side of each cent in this set.
Reverse: This side of each 2019-W Lincoln cent displays the Union Shield design. The Union Shield reverse design is the work of Lyndall Bass. This reverse design was introduced in 2010. The face value is also displayed on this side of each cent.
GEM Condition in OGP
All three coins in this set are still in their original Mint packaging. Each one is in GEM condition, just like when it left the U.S. Mint.
