Why add this specially labeled 2019-W American Silver Eagle Proof to your collection?
The U.S. Mint released the first American Silver Eagle coins more than three decades ago, in 1986, featuring powerful patriotic imagery illustrating the national themes of liberty and freedom. This 40.60 mm diameter 2019 dated coin was struck by the West Point Mint from 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver with a breathtaking proof finish.
Historic 1916 Walking Liberty Design by Adolph A. Weinman
The obverse depicts Weinman's Lady Liberty enveloped in the American flag walking towards the rising sun holding a bouquet of oak and laurel, which are emblematic of strength, victory and honor.
The reverse illustrates a bald eagle in a heraldic pose with a striped shield, grasping an olive branch and arrows. The design is credited to John Mercanti, 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint.
Flawless Proof 70 with Exclusive Weinman Label
Graded a perfect Proof 70, this 2019 American Silver Eagle carries the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) Early Releases designation, indicating that the coin was received by the grading service within the first thirty days of release. For its outstanding degree of contrast between the frosted design elements and mirrored fields, the proof earned the additional certification of Ultra Cameo (UC). The coin is enclosed in a NGC holder adorned with ModernCoinMart's specially designed label honoring the Silver Eagle's obverse designer Adolph A. Weinman.
