Design Celebrating Innovations in Textile Manufacturing
Created by Joel Iskowitz and Phebe Hemphill, the reverse features a scene from a Lowell weave room, illustrating a woman operating a loom with a large circular bobbin. The image border is inscribed "LOWELL," "MASSACHUSETTS," "2019" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
George Washington is depicted on the obverse, designed by John Flanagan in 1932. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "QUARTER DOLLAR" and the highly sought after West Point Mint mark "W."
