Classic President Lincoln Design by Victor D. Brenner
The Lincoln Cent features a portrait of the beloved leader by Victor D. Brenner. It is the same portrait that has featured on the coin since 1909. The somber leader is joined by three inscriptions, "IN GOD WE TRUST," "LIBERTY," and "2019." Lyndall Bass's reverse, which debuted in 2010, features a ribbon with the coin's face value, "ONE CENT," open against a backdrop of a union shield. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is inscribed along the rim.
Among the other noteworthy coins in this set is a Sacagawea Dollar, the reverse of which pays homage to the important work that Native Americans have contributed to the country's space program. The set also includes the five 2019 America the Beautiful Quarters, which represent Massachusetts, the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Texas, and Idaho. These pieces are joined by a Kennedy Half Dollar, a Roosevelt Dime, a Jefferson Nickel, and a Lincoln Cent.
