Modern Lincoln Cent Design
The obverse of this coin features a stunning portrait of President Abraham Lincoln. This is the work of Victor David Brenner. The date and the "W" mint mark are also located on this side.
The reverse of this Lincoln cent shows the Union Shield design by Lyndall Bass. This design was first used for the reverse in 2010. The face value is displayed on a banner over the shield.
NGC MS68 First Releases with a Lincoln Label
This 2019-W Lincoln cent has a Lincoln label to show its grade from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. Since this specimen is in nearly flawless condition and it was submitted within 30 days of its release date, it was given the grade of Mint State 68 and the First Releases designation. The rest of the Mint set arrives in its original government packaging
