Why purchase this flawless Burnished 2019-W American Silver Eagle?
The American Silver Eagle is a product of the U.S. Mint, produced annually since 1986. The coin features a design by sculptor Adolph A. Weinman which first appeared on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar in 1916. To mark the 20th Anniversary of the Silver Eagle in 2006, the Mint introduced a burnished version to the series. This 2019-W Burnished Silver Eagle was struck at the West Point Mint from 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver.
Timeless Silver Eagle Design
Gracefully enveloped in an American flag, Weinman's gorgeous rendition of Lady Liberty appears on the obverse. Inscribed "LIBERTY," "2019" and "IN GOD WE TRUST."
An eagle with a striped shield at its breast is depicted on the reverse, designed by John Mercanti. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "ONE DOLLAR," "W" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
