Why Buy This MS70 First Releases 2019-W Burnished Silver Eagle with a Black Core Slab and an Exclusive Eagle Label?
The 20th anniversary of the Silver Eagle series was in 2006. That was the first time that the U.S. Mint offered the American Silver Eagle with a burnished finish. The West Point Mint struck this 2019-W burnished Silver Eagle. It has the same silver content as the standard bullion version.
Impressive Symbolic Designs
The date can be found on the obverse of this coin. The central portion of this design shows Liberty wearing the stars and stripes as she strides across the scene. This design was created over a century ago by Adolph A. Weinman.
If you're looking for the "W" mintmark, it can be found on the reverse. A detailed bald eagle with a shield over its chest is depicted here. There are 13 stars just above the eagle's head.
