The Burnished (Uncirculated) version of the American Silver Eagle was added to the U.S. Mint's popular series in 2006, in celebration of the series' 20th year of release. The coin is struck from 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver just like the proof and bullion varieties, but with a gorgeous satin-like finish.
