Why Purchase This MS69 First Releases 2019-W Burnished Silver Eagle for Your Collection?
The burnished Silver Eagle was an instant hit with collectors when this version was first offered for the 20th anniversary of the series in 2006. Prior to this, only Silver Eagles with proof and brilliant uncirculated finishes were available. This 2019-W burnished Silver Eagle has the same silver content as other coins of the series.
Impressive Patriotic Symbols
The obverse of this burnished coin features Adolph A. Weinman's classic Walking Liberty design. She is wearing the stars and stripes as she makes her way forward with one arm extended. The date is inscribed at the bottom of the design.
The design for the reverse was created by John Mercanti. There are 13 stars in the upper portion. They are arranged in a triangular fashion and represent the original 13 colonies. The bald eagle below them displays a high level of detail, particularly in its feathers.
NGC Certified MS69 First Releases
To have this coin graded and encapsulated, it was submitted to the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. Since it's almost perfect and it was sent during its first 30 days of availability, it was given the grade of Mint State 69 and the First Releases designation.
