Design Celebrating the Majestic Wilderness
The reverse features a lone boater navigating a rough river. Inscriptions include "RIVER OF NO RETURN WILDERNESS," "IDAHO," "2019" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM." The design by Emily Damstra was sculpted by Renata Gordon.
The classically styled 1932 bust of Founding Father George Washington by John Flanagan adorns the obverse. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "QUARTER DOLLAR" are inscribed, with the coveted "W" Mint mark located behind the president.
