Why purchase this 2019-W America the Beautiful San Antonio Missions Historical Park Clad Quarter?
In 2019, the U.S. Mint issued clad quarters with West Point's "W" Mint mark directly into circulation, mixed with coins from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints for the first time ever. For each of the five 2019 America the Beautiful quarter designs, only 2,000,000 were released in this manner. This 2019-W clad quarter celebrates the state of Texas and its San Antonio Missions Historical Park.
Sensational Design Honoring the Missions
The reverse is divided into four quadrants by a cross. The quadrants bear imagery symbolizing important aspects of the Missions: community, farming, life-sustaining resources and cultural heritage. The inscriptions "SAN ANTONIO MISSIONS," "TEXAS," "2019" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" encircle the symbolic design by Chris Costello and Joseph Menna.
The portrait of George Washington sculpted by John Flanagan has graced the obverse of the U.S. circulating quarter since 1932. The image is surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "QUARTER DOLLAR" and "LIBERTY." The coin's identifying "W" Mint mark appears below the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST."
Impressive Mint State 64
This 2019-W San Antonio Missions Historical Park America the Beautiful Quarter received the grade of Mint State 64 from Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). The lightly circulated clad quarter is presented in an archival holder with an attached PCGS certification label.

Coin certification is a relatively recent addition to the coin collectors arsenal. It can provide plenty of advantages over housing your coins in their original mint packaging. ModernCoinMart offers plenty of professionally graded coins, but what exactly are the advantages of buying graded coins?
