Why purchase this Reverse Proof 2019-W 1 oz. Palladium Eagle coin?
The 2019 release of the U.S. Mint's Palladium Eagle series features the high relief coin with a fantastic reverse proof finish! Imagery of the series remains unchanged, based upon classic early 20th century designs by sculptor Adolph A. Weinman. Breathtaking High Relief Images
The obverse depicts Winged Liberty, borrowed from the iconic "Mercury Dime" struck from 1916-1945, surrounded by the inscriptions "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2019," as well as Weinman's "AW" monogram and West Point's "W."
Featured on the reverse is an intricately detailed eagle with a laurel branch in its beak, emulating the American Institute of Architects (AIA) gold medal, first awarded in 1907. Inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "$25," "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "1 OZ. Pd .9995 FINE."
