Why add this Silver Proof 1901 Barber Half Dollar coin to your collection?

The Barber Half Dollar was an annual product of the U.S. Mint from 1892 until 1915. The imagery created by the Mint's Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber is similar to that of the dime and quarter introduced the same year. Collectible proof versions of the half dollar were minted each year of the series. With the exception of the inaugural year, those mintages were all below 1,000 in number, all exclusively struck at the Philadelphia branch of the Mint. Representing the 10th year of production, mintage of this 1901 Silver Barber Half Dollar Proof is reported to be only 813 coins!

Gorgeous Lady Liberty

The obverse features a right facing image of Lady Liberty, her head adorned with a Phrygian cap, laurel wreath and a "LIBERTY" inscribed crown. The portrait is encircled by thirteen stars, "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "1901."

An eagle is depicted on the reverse gripping arrows and an olive branch, with thirteen stars above. Inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "HALF DOLLAR."

Spectacular Bright White Proof 64

Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) has awarded this 1901 Silver Barber Half Dollar the grade of Proof 64 for its sharp strike, nearly perfect surfaces and exceptional eye appeal. This coin featuring bright white mirrored surfaces is a rare find, as most Barber Half Dollar proofs exhibit multiple degrees of toning.

Don't miss the opportunity to add this impressively graded, bright white 1901 Silver Barber Half Dollar proof coin to your collection!
