For the 110th Anniversary of the Lincoln Cent, the U.S. Mint has included a specially struck version of the coin its Proof Coin Set. While ten coins in the set are struck at the San Francisco Mint with the traditional "S" Mint mark, the bonus, eleventh coin is a premium proof 2019 Lincoln Cent marked with a "W," representing the first time in the history of the series that West Point's mark has appeared on the coin.

The classic favorites are in the set, a Kennedy half dollar, Roosevelt dime and Jefferson nickel, along with a newly designed Native American Dollar. The five America the Beautiful Quarters are also included, commemorating national landmarks in Massachusetts, Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Texas and Idaho. The final two coins of the set are the 2019-W and 2019-S Lincoln Cents.

The 2019-W Proof Lincoln Cent was submitted to Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) for review with the first thirty days following their release. The traditional set is presented in the two original Mint display boxes with. Individually graded a virtually flawless Proof 69 Red (RD), the penny is encapsulated in a NGC holder with a label confirming its First Releases status. The set is accompanied by a U.S. Mint issued Certificate of Authenticity.
