Why order this 5 oz. Silver 2019-P War in the Pacific America the Beautiful Specimen?
The America the Beautiful Series has enamored collectors since its inception in 2010. It has taken them on a tour of some of America's most important national parks. This coin, the 48th in the collection, is Guam's edition. It features War in the Pacific National Historical Park, which pays tribute to those who fought in the Pacific Theater. This coin bears the "P" mint mark of the Philadelphia Mint, where it was struck from 5 oz of .999 fine silver. The mint mark is one of two characteristics that distinguish this piece from the bullion coin. The other is this coin's specimen finish.
Powerful Asan Bay by Joel Iskowitz
John Flanagan's left-side portrait of President George Washington features on the obverse. He is joined by several inscriptions, including "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "QUARTER DOLLAR," "LIBERTY," and "IN GOD WE TRUST."
Solders storm the shore at Asan Bay on in Joel Iskowitz's reverse design. Michael Gaudioso sculpted the image, which is encircled by a rim frame. Inscriptions on that frame read "WAR IN THE PACIFIC," "GUAM," "219," and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" (From many, one).
