A Young and Promising StarJa Morant went to Murray State and created a national name for himself in just two years. In his freshman season, he was named to the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) All-Newcomer Team. Morant was also named First-Team All-OVC, which he also accomplished in 2019. In his second season with the Racers, Morant led the nation in assists and was a consensus first-team All-American. He was the OVC Player of the Year and Tournament MVP. He won the Bob Cousy Award as the nation's most outstanding point guard and the Lute Olson Award as the nation's best player. He also made history by becoming the first player in NCAA history to average 10+ assists and 20+ points over the course of a season. Murray State retired his number 12 jersey. Morant entered the 2019 NBA Draft, foregoing his last two years of eligibility, and was picked second overall by the Memphis Grizzlies. He quickly established himself as a top professional talent, earning Rookie of the Year honors and a spot on the NBA All-Rookie First Team. In 2022, he became an All-Star for the first time. He was also named the league's Most Improved Player. PSA Mint 9A card in Mint 9 condition is in superb condition.
