Magnificent Pistrucci Sovereign Design
Each reverse depicts the iconic image of St. George on horseback in a dramatic battle against a winged dragon, with a sword poised to strike in his right hand. Inscriptions include "2019" and the artist's initials "B.P." with the exception of the Five-Sovereign coin, which is inscribed "PISTRUCCI."
The portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II created by Royal Mint Engraver Jody Clark is located on each obverse, surrounded by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II, DEI. GRA. REGINA. FID. DEF."
