Magnificently Detailed Designs
The reverse created by John Bergdahl depicts a collage of imagery symbolizing Great Britain's impact on industrial expansion, framed within a network of gears, including a representation of the "young head" portrait struck on Victoria's coinage designed by William Wyon. The smooth edge is inscribed "WORKSHOP OF THE WORLD."
The effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II sculpted by Jody Clark is centered on the obverse. Inscribed "ELIZABETH II," "D.G. REG. F.D.," "5 POUNDS" and "2019."
Proof 69 with One of First 250 Struck Exclusive Tower Bridge Label
This 2019 Great Britain 200 Year Commemorative Queen Victoria Silver Proof Coin was submitted for grading to Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). The coin is authenticated as being among the first 250 proofs to be struck and awarded the nearly perfect grade of Proof 69 Ultra Cameo (UC). The proof is encapsulated in a NGC holder with a certification label designed exclusively for MCM depicting the Tower Bridge, which was built during Victoria's reign. The coin includes a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, Storybook and the original Mint branded box.
