Both faces of this coin bear the designs of Joel Iskowitz. On the obverse is a closeup look at the head of an eagle, which has its head turned toward the left side of this face. The Fijian coat of arms is set off to the left. Inscriptions at the top offer the coin's country, "FIJI," and date, " 2019."
The reverse features a stunning view of an eagle swooping down toward its prey. The bird balances its descent with its wings spread out while stretching its open talons toward its next meal. The face value of the coin, "FIVE DOLLARS," is inscribed along the rim at the top, while its face value and weight, "999 AG 5 OZ," are included in the lower right.
