A Giant Panda is illustrated clinging to a tree branch on the reverse, as it gazes towards the Red Jade moon, with the inscription "Full moon and full blossom are perfect bliss on Moon Festival" in Chinese characters curving above. Additional inscriptions include "MOON FESTIVAL" and "1 OZ AG .999."
China's famed Great Wall is depicted on the obverse, beneath the image of an armillary sphere, an ancient three dimensional diagram of the heavens. Inscribed "2019" and the Shenzhen Guobao Mint mark "Z."
