Why add this 30 g Silver 2019 ¥10 China Panda to your collection?
Be a part of the 2019 celebration of the 30th anniversary of the inaugural one ounce silver bullion Panda. The series underwent a change in 2016, when it went from being issued in imperial units, like other world bullion coins, to metric ones. Today, that novelty continues, as it remains the only world bullion coin issued in metric units. This coin, which is the successor to the one ounce Silver Panda, was struck from 30 g of .999 fine silver at the China Mint.
Powerful Mother and Baby Panda Design
The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, an example of traditional Chinese architecture that is located in Beijing's Temple of Heaven, stands on the obverse. Stairs lead up away from the holder toward the circular building, which was built in concentric levels. The building is encircled by a rim frame on which there are two inscriptions. Chinese characters that translate to "People's Republic of China" are at the top, and the date, "2019," is at the bottom.
On the reverse is a moving image of a mother panda holding her cub. The two look lovingly at each other, and the baby feels completely secure in the caring arms of its mother. To the left are mountains that rise in the distance. The face value of the coin is inscribed on those mountains, while the weight and purity, "30 G AG .999," are inscribed above them.
Nearly Perfect MS69 ER with Temple Label
This coin lacks almost any imperfection that is visible to the naked eye as evidenced by its Mint State 69 grade from the experts at Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). Its Early Releases certification indicates that it was received for grading no more than thirty days after its initial mint release. This grading information comes on a label that features a Chinese temple.
