Why does this Brilliant Uncirculated 1 oz. Silver 2019 Australian Kangaroo coin with a Beijing Coin Show Panda privy mark belong in your collection of precious metals?
The circulating Australian dollar coin series featuring a kangaroo mob design was introduced by the Royal Australian Mint in 1984. This specially minted Kangaroo silver dollar coin includes a Panda Bear privy mark to commemorate the Beijing International Coin Exposition (November 15-17, 2019). Measuring 40 mm in diameter, the coin is struck from 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver, its mintage limited to just 5,000 pieces.
Charming Classic Kangaroo Design
A mob of five bounding kangaroos is depicted on the reverse. The Panda privy mark is located in a small square, between the largest kangaroo and the coin's denomination of "1 DOLLAR." The design is credited to Stuart Devlin and A. Baggio.
Centered on the obverse is the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II created by Ian Rank-Broadley, surrounded by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II" and "AUSTRALIA 2019."
