Why purchase this First Releases 2019 $100 American Platinum Eagle bullion coin?

The American Platinum Eagle has been an annual product of the U.S. Mint since 1997. Imagery struck on the bullion releases of the series have remained consistent, featuring the inaugural year designs. This 2019 Platinum Eagle bullion coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint from 1 Troy oz. of .9995 fine platinum.

Exceptional Symbolic Designs

The obverse features a rendition of the Statue of Liberty as envisioned by John Mercanti, the U.S. Mint's 12th Chief Engraver. Inscriptions include "LIBERTY," "2019" and "IN GOD WE TRUST," with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" following the curve of Liberty's upraised arm.

The reverse illustrates a powerful symbol of American freedom: a bald eagle soaring above a rising sun. The Inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," ".9995 PLATINUM 1 OZ." and "$100" are incorporated into the design by Thomas D. Rodgers Sr.
