Weinman's Lady Liberty as originally envisioned for the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar adorns the obverse. She is portrayed walking towards the rising sun wrapped in the American flag, as she cradles a cluster of oak and laurel branches. Inscribed "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2018."
The reverse features Mercanti's interpretation of the Great Seal of the United States, depicting an eagle clutching an olive branch and arrows. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "ONE DOLLAR," "W" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
