These examples were struck at the West Point branch of the U.S. Mint on 1 oz. .999 pure silver planchets.
Beautiful, classic obverse and reverse designs
The obverse design used is the spectacular "Liberty Walking" design from Adolph A. Weinman's iconic half dollar. She is depicted traversing a rocky, hazardous landscape as she freely shares freedom, prosperity and strength. The reverse design is John Mercanti's Heraldic Eagle.
