Why purchase this Proof 2018-S American Silver Eagle/

This Proof Silver Eagle is a great way for collectors of the famous bullion Silver Eagle to admire one of their favorite designs in a new way. The coin bears a stunning proof finish that enhances the details of the design. It was struck from one ounce of .999 fine silver and bears the San Francisco Mint's "S" mint mark on the reverse.

Historic Liberty Design by Adolph Weinman

The obverse of the Silver Eagle series dates back to 1916, when it debuted on Adolph Weinman's Walking Liberty half dollar. Liberty is draped in the American flag and has a Phrygian cap on her head as a symbol of her freedom. She bears laurel and oak branches that symbolize civilian and military honors, respectively, and extends her right hand over the rising sun.

John Mercanti's reverse is based on the Great Seal of the United States. The eagle, which is under thirteen stars, holds arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other. The former represent military preparedness while the later indicates a preference for peace.

Perfect PF70 UC FR with Black Core Holder

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) set this coin in a sleek black core that complements the piece beautifully. NGC also graded the coin Proof 70, which means that it lacks even a single imperfection that is visible under 5x magnification, and certified it Ultra Cameo and First Releases.
