Why add this 2018-S American Silver Eagle Proof to your collection

Collectors around the world love the Silver Eagle Series, which dates back to 1986. This coin continues that rich tradition while also offering a proof finish and the highly coveted "S" mint mark of the San Francisco Mint. It was struck there on a one ounce .999 fine silver planchet.

Historic Walking Liberty Design by Adolph Weinman

On the obverse is Adolph Weinman's famous Walking Liberty design. The design appeared on the half dollar from 1916-1947. Liberty is shown draped in the American flag with a Phrygian cap on her head as a symbol of her freedom. She extends her right hand above the morning sunrise while carrying branches in her left.

The reverse features an adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States. Designed by John Mercanti, it consists of thirteen stars above an eagle, which is protecting a union shield. The eagle holds arrows and an olive branch in its talons and a ribbon that bears the words "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in its beak.

Virtually Flawless PF69 UC

This coin earned Numismatic Guaranty Corporation's (NGC's) second highest grade, Proof 69, which means that it is nearly flawless as seen by the naked eye. It was also certified Ultra Cameo for its sharp contrasts between frosted devices and mirrored fields.
