Why order this Silver 2018-S Proof American Eagle?

This Silver Eagle Proof is perfect not only for those who love the Silver Eagle Series but also for collectors of coins from America's western most mint, the San Francisco Mint. Just a few issues in this series have borne its "S" mint mark since production of proofs was moved from there in 1993. The coin was struck from .999 fine silver on a one ounce planchet.

Stunning Walking Liberty Design by Adolph Weinman

Adolph Weinman created the obverse design for the half dollar, where it appeared from 1916-1947. Liberty is shown in full stride draped in the American flag. She extends her right hand in front of her above the morning sun while carrying laurel and oak branches in her left hand.

On the reverse is a design created specifically for the Silver Eagle by John Mercanti. Inspired by the Great Seal of the United States, it consists of thirteen stars above an eagle that guards a union shield. The bird holds arrows, symbols of military readiness, in one talon and an olive branch, a symbol of peace, in the other.

Exquisite PF69 UC FR

This coin appears virtually perfect to the naked eye according to the experts at Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), who gave it their second highest grade, Proof 69. It also bears especially sharp contrast between its heavily frosted devices and deeply mirrored fields, as evidenced by its Ultra Cameo certification.

Don't miss your chance to own this Silver 2018-S American Eagle Proof.
