Why buy this 2018 3 Ruble Russia 1 oz Silver St. George?
Diversify your collection with this 2018 Russian Silver St. George. The coin features a uniquely Russian design and is the perfect way to celebrate improving relations between the United States and Russia. Guaranteed by the Bank of Russia, this coin was struck from one ounce of .999 fine silver. It is part of a mintage of just 300,000 pieces, well below the mintages of most other silver bullion coins.
Unique St. George and the Dragon Design
The obverse bears the Russian coat of arms. That is a crowned double-headed eagle, which holds a scepter and an orb. At the center is St. George, who is on horseback slaying a dragon, which represents Satan. Most of the inscriptions on this face are in Cyrillic. One at the top translates to "Russian Federation," while inscriptions at the bottom mean, "Bank of Russia," "3 Rubles," and "2018." The purity, "AG 999," and weight, "31.1," are included to the left and right, respectively.
On the reverse is a different image of St. George slaying a dragon than the one on the obverse. St. George is on horseback and faces to the right side of the coin. His cape flows freely behind him.
Exquisite GEM BU condition
This coin comes in GEM Brilliant Uncirculated condition. That means that it was struck sharply and has no signs of wear.
