Why Choose This MS70 First Releases 2018-P World War I Centennial Silver Dollar with a Travis Mills Signature Label?
World War I came to an end in 1918, and to mark the centennial anniversary of its conclusion the U.S. Mint struck a variety of commemorative coins. This 90% silver dollar has a Brilliant Uncirculated finish. It was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. Between the Proof and Uncirculated versions, no more than 350,000 will be struck.
Remembering World War I
On the obverse of this silver dollar a World War I soldier is depicted. His helmet is secure and he has both hands on his rifle as he looks forward with intensity. The anniversary dates "1918" and "2018" can be seen just below his rifle.
The reverse displays a "P" Mint mark near the right edge of the design. This side shows poppies blooming that have grown through the barbed wire.
