Why Make This MS70 2018-P Australia 1 oz. Silver Emu with an Australia Label the Next Addition to Your Collection?

Australia's Perth Mint is renowned for the quality of their coins and bullion. This 2018-P Silver Emu was struck by the Perth Mint. It is the first coin of the new Emu series, which is to be issued annually. This 1 oz. coin is made of .9999 fine silver. While this is a bullion coin, its mintage is limited. No more than 30,000 of these will be struck.

Lifelike Emu Design

The face value can be found on the obverse. This side shows a detailed portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The version featured here is the work of Ian Rank-Broadley.

The reverse shows an emu in stride against a detailed Australian landscape. The level of detail present on the emu is impressive. The "P" Mint mark is near the back of the emu. The date and silver content are near the bottom of the design.

NGC MS70 with an Australia Label

This 1 oz. Silver Emu was submitted to the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. Since no imperfections could be found when it was examined, it was assigned a perfect Mint State 70 grade. This coin even has an Australia themed label to show its grade.
