Why order this Australian 2018-P $100 1 oz Gold Kangaroo?

This $100 Australian 2018-P 1 oz Gold Kangaroo is the latest issue in a series that began in 1989 and has since become a favorite of gold collectors. The coin features a unique animal in what is for most collectors a land far away and thus symbolizes a very different lifestyle, as well as adventure. This coin was struck from .9999 fine gold at the Perth Mint and bears that Mint's famed "P" Mint mark, which is revered throughout the world for the outstanding quality that it represents.

Exquisite Kangaroo design by Neil Hollis

Ian Rank-Broadley's effigy of Queen Elizabeth II is at the center of the obverse. Long a fixture of Australian coins, the image features the monarch wearing a tiara. Her name, "ELIZABETH II," joins the country of issue, "AUSTRALIA," and face value, "100 DOLLARS," along the rim.

Neal Hollis's reverse design features two Australian kangaroos bounding across the Australian outback. The kangaroos are well detailed, though the background is stylized. The sun is high in the sky on a clear day. At the top is an inscription of the name of the coin, "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO," while inscriptions at the bottom offer the coin's date, weight and purity, collectively reading, "2018 1 OZ 9999 GOLD."
