The series features the ten heraldic beasts that stood outside of West-Minsters Abbey in 1953 while Queen Elizabeth II was coronated. Created by Jody Clark, the obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, this is the fifth portrait of Her Majesty to be used by the Royal British Mint since her Coronation in 1953.
Jody Clark created the reverse as well and designed a dynamic depiction of the Black Bull of Clarence. The bull can be seen rearing on its hind legs behind its coat of arms surrounded by the coins specifications.
