ModernCoinMart is pleased to offer these officially licensed reproductions through a partnership with the Smithsonian.
Design of the $10,000 Gold Certificate
A portrait of Salmon P. Chase, a politician and 25th Secretary of the Treasury. The design of the original note is replicated with astounding detail, including the signatures of William Alexander Julian and Henry Morgenthau Jr., the Treasurer and Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, respectively, in 1934. The blue and yellow sun logo of the Smithsonian appears to the left of Chase's image replacing the Treasury Seal.
The reverse is ornamented with a traditional guilloche and filigree pattern which includes the note's face value of "$10,000" and "THE UNITED STATES OF AMRICA."
