A White Jade moon is located on the obverse, hovering above two Giant Pandas, one posed in the crook of a tree, the other nibbling on a bamboo branch in the foreground. Inscriptions include "MOON FESTIVAL" and "1 OZ AG .999."
The Great Wall of China is illustrated on the reverse, curving though the mountainous landscape of China, with "2018" inscribed below. In a circular frame above, an armillary sphere is depicted. The sphere is a Chinese device created in the first century BC used for mapping heavenly bodies.
