Why Order This MS70 First Day of Issue 2018 Silver Eagle with a Silver Core Slab for Your Collection?

Like the American Gold Eagle, the American Silver Eagle is struck by the U.S. Mint. The weight and purity of each coin in this series also happens to be guaranteed by the Mint. This 2018 Silver Eagle is made of .999 fine silver and weighs 1 Troy oz.

Inspiring Liberty Obverse and Iconic Bald Eagle Reverse

The stars and stripes can be seen flowing around Liberty on the obverse. She is in stride as she carries a bundle of branches and holds one arm in front of her. This design was created by Adolph A. Weinman.

John Mercanti is the artist behind the reverse design. The upper portion shows 13 stars and the central portion features a heraldic bald eagle. The silver weight and face value are inscribed at the bottom of the design.

MS70 First Day of Issue from NGC with a Silver Core Holder

Now that this coin has been certified by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) it's housed in an aesthetic silver core slab. It was submitted on its official release day so it was given the First Day of Issue designation. The grade of Mint State 70 (MS70) is reserved for coins that are free of flaws.
