A beautifully detailed Wedge-Tailed Eagle balanced on a tree branch is featured on the reverse. Inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE," "2017 1 OZ .999 SILVER," and the Mint mark "P" surround the image. The profile of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II adorns the obverse, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, inscribed "ELIZABETH II," "AUSTRALIA," and "1 DOLLAR."
