Why order this American 2017-(P) Silver Eagle
Diversify your collectoin of the world's most popular bullion coin with this 2017-(P) Silver American Eagle. Thanks to a response to a Freedom of Information Act request, grading companies can now determine where certain coins were minted. This piece was struck at the Philadelphia Mint, which will have a much lower mintage of the coin than the West Point Mint, making the coin particularly appealing to discerning collectors.
Exquisite Walking Liberty Design by Adolph Weinman
As with previous editions of the Silver Eagle, this coin features Adolph Weinman's Walking Liberty design, which debuted on the 1916 half dollar, on the obverse. Liberty strides toward the left side of the coin draped in the American flag. She carries branches in her left hand and extends her right in front of her, as though presenting the rising sun to the holder. An eagle guards a shield under thirteen stars on John Mercanti's reverse.
Nearly perfect Mint State 69 First Day of Issue with an exclusive U.S. Mint 225th Anniversary label
You can share in a numismatic celebration with this exclusive 225th Anniversary of the U.S. Mint label from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). NGC provided their second highest grade, Mint State 69, on that label, thus indicating that the coin has just a few minuscule flaws. NGC also labeled the coin a First Day of Issue, an exclusive designation that is given only to coins that go through a unique submission process.
